New branding customization for Launch
We know how important having a custom branding experience is, so it’s now possible to personalize Launch in many more ways. We’ve built a tool that lets you handle this custom setup yourself, previewing changes across Launch’s different screens so it looks exactly the way you want. We’ll be expanding it with more customization options in upcoming releases.

Improved website design styles
In Extendify v2.3 we introduced a new system for defining website design styles and in this release, we’ve made a big improvement to it using the latest WordPress capabilities. Sections can now have different colors for each element, different alignments and spacing, different icon sizes or image filters, background icons, and much more. This makes every site look more polished and intentionally designed, while keeping cohesion across the entire website.
We’re already working on additional new design styles to release in the coming weeks.
Custom notices in the Admin Dashboard and front-end
Most of our hosting partners have notices in their hosting panels, but users spend far more time in WordPress. To help you get their attention, you can now add custom notices within WordPress. Notices can appear on the website front-end, in the AI Agent, or on WordPress Admin pages such as the Dashboard and Site Assistant.
Notices can be fully customized: your own content, icons, and colors, whether they’re dismissible, where they’re displayed, and what triggers them. For example, you can show a banner on the front-end for users still on a temporary domain, inviting them to purchase one.
Custom notices are available to Extendify Enterprise partners. Contact us if you’re interested in enabling custom notices for your account.
Plugin Abilities API support and simplified plugin setup
Our goal is to make it easier for users to manage their websites without needing to learn the specifics of how WordPress or a specific plugin works. As a step forward in this direction, the AI Agent now supports the Abilities API for a selected group of Product Platform plugins, starting with WooCommerce, SimplyBook, and WPForms, with more coming soon.
This means users with an online store can now ask for information, like “what are my latest orders”, or complete tasks, like “add a product called Moka Bear, that costs 20.99 and has an AI image of a bear drinking coffee”. For managing a contact form, simply asking to “change the contact form name field to full name and make it optional” does the trick. There’s no need to understand or navigate through different screens to make these changes.
Users can now create and set up their accounts for selected Product Platform plugins with a single click, giving them full access to all the free features it offers. Where it makes sense, Extendify will also set up the free functionality for the user, like adding and setting up a second language in a multilingual plugin.
We’re continuing to expand the list of supported solutions for these new features and exploring new ways to make using them even more frictionless for users.
Improved image handling
We made a variety of optimizations related to image handing that meaningfully improve how images are used in website designs:
- Improved image selection when a website is created through the use of AI analysis of available images and improvements to our image search algorithm
- Added custom images for WooCommerce demo products created during Launch
- Users can specify images the website should have in the Launch description, including specific images for the hero section (e.g. “I am a photographer and want my site to show photos of birds.”)
These improvements also power image selection for the Extendify API.
Optional AI image labeling
Users can now add an “AI Generated” icon to AI-generated images with a single click. These images were already meta-tagged as AI-generated, but that tagging wasn’t visible in the image itself. This makes it easier for your users to comply with regulations like the EU AI Act, which requires a clear label on certain types of AI-generated images. These labels are fully localized into all languages Extendify supports and are optional for users to add.
Extendify Code integration in Launch
We recently released Extendify Code, an agentic app builder that brings AI-powered app creation to hosting partners around the world. To help users know when an app builder would give a better result than a WordPress website, like when creating a web app or a more complex site, Launch can now recommend this option to the user.
This feature is optional for our hosting partners to enable if they offer both Extendify for WordPress and Extendify Code. Contact us if you would like to enable this feature for your license or want to learn more about Extendify Code.
Launch: title field for improved site creation
Increasing the number of users who create a website is key to improving retention on your hosting plan. Our testing shows that adding a title field to the first Launch screen increases the number of sites created by more than 15%, giving users who don’t want to write a full description a faster way to get started.
This update will be enabled on September 28, 2026, to give partners time to update screenshots and documentation. As always, contact us if you want it enabled sooner or need more time.
Other Fixes and Improvements
This release comes with several fixes and refinements, including:
- Improved language support for Swedish and Brazilian Portuguese.
- Sites running an old version of Extendify or Extendable are now automatically updated from the Launch screen.
- Improved AI Agent speed and support for more complex changes.
- Testimonials now show an explicit placeholder content.
