Extendify is Adopting the EditorsKit plugin

We are thrilled to announce that Extendify is adopting the EditorsKit plugin from Jeffrey Carandang. Jeffrey built an amazing experience with EditorsKit that has made Gutenberg easier to use and more powerful for thousands of users. With Jeffrey taking on a full-time role at 10up, EditorsKit hasn’t received as much development as Jeffrey or we would like to see, so we decided to take over the plugin and make sure it remains relevant and valuable for its dedicated user base.

As a first step, we have decided to make the EditorsKit Typography & Google Fonts Add-on free for all users and can be downloaded here. This add-on allows users to easily define typography on WordPress posts and pages directly from the Gutenberg editor. With sets of predefined Google Fonts combinations and the ability to create your own.

Additionally, we are making the Extendify library of Gutenberg patterns and templates available directly in EditorsKit. During the beta launch, the full library is available for users at no cost.

We will continue collaborating with Jeffrey over the coming months to define the future of EditorsKit, as well as ShareABlock.com, copyglyphs.com, and copygradients.com.

Stay tuned!
